Italgas S.p.A owns 100% of the shares of Italgas Reti, which owns the shareholdings in the subsidiaries ACAM Gas and Enerco Distribuzione S.p.A. (the latter in turn is the parent company of SGS s.r.l.), as well as in the associated companies Toscana Energia, Metano Sant'Angelo Lodigiano and Umbria Distribuzione Gas. Italgas S.p.A. also holds 100% of the shares of Italgas Acqua S.p.A.
Italgas Reti operates throughout Italy, where it is the concessionaire for the gas distribution services in 1,443 municipalities*, and manages 55,867 kilometres of network* with 6.42 million active gas meters* and over 7.369 billion cubic meters of gas distributed*.
Acam Gas is the gas distribution service concessionaire in 29 municipalities: 28 in Liguria and 1 in Tuscany. Its distribution network covers about 1,204 kilometres and includes over 112,000 active re-delivery points. In 2016, the company distributed 91 million cubic meters of gas.
Italgas Acqua operates under concession, the water service of five municipalities in Campania: Caserta, Baia and Latina (CE), Casaluce (CE), Galluccio (CE) and Roccaromana (CE).
Toscana Energia is the leading gas distribution operator in Tuscany. Its 7,778 kilometre-long network serves 104 municipalities, and in 2016 it distributed more than 1,087 million cubic meters of natural gas. It also provides public lighting services and co-generates electricity and heat.
Enerco Distribuzione holds 27 concessions in the provinces of Padua and Vicenza, manages a network of over 800 kilometers of pipelines and serves around 30 thousand users.
Metano Sant’Angelo Lodigiano is active in the field of natural gas distribution in urban areas in the 4 municipalities of the province of Lodi and 1 municipality of the province of Pavia. Every year, it transports about 17 million cubic meters of gas through its 110 kilometres of pipelines and manages 9,700 active gas meters.
Umbria Distribuzione Gas serves the citizens of the city of Terni with 50,000 re-delivery points. In 2016, the company distributed approximately 52 million cubic meters of gas.
