Italgas, consistent with its role as the provider of gas distribution services, is constantly engaged in a continuous and effective dialogue with the communities in which it operates at all levels.
In relations to the European, national and local authorities, Italgas operates on the principles of sincere cooperation and transparency by providing its skills and abilities, conscious of the social utility of its role. The commitment to openness has resulted in joining Registries for formal transparency as formally instituted by the European Parliament, the Chamber of Deputies, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Region of Lombardy.

Investors and lenders
Italgas, since its listing on the stock market, has placed transparency in its relationships with investors and the entire financial community among its top priorities. In the last quarter of 2016, a roadshow was conducted, reaching the major European and North America markets, aimed to illustrate the demerger from Snam and the subsequent listing of the Company for investors. In 28 one-to-one meetings, 12 group meetings and 1 industry conference, management presented corporate plans to over 130 investors.
Italgas’ shareholding is also made up of investors who adopt SRI (Sustainable and Responsible Investment) criteria: they base their investment choices on ethical principles and on the analysis of extra-financial variables, such as corporate governance and reputational risk.
