Italgas: Fitch Ratings affirms Rating and Outlook

Milan, August 3 2026 – The rating agency Fitch Ratings (“Fitch”) affirmed today Italgas S.p.A.’s Long-term Issuer rating at 'BBB+', Stable Outlook.

The rating affirmation follows the presentation of the 2026–2032 Strategic Plan and reflects Fitch’s expectation that the Italgas’ financial profile will remain consistent with the current rating level, supported by growth in regulated businesses in Italy and Greece, investments in gas networks, and the acceleration of tenders for gas distribution.

The Stable Outlook reflects Fitch’s expectation that Italgas will continue deleveraging over the plan horizon, maintaining an adequate margin relative to the thresholds associated with its current rating and supported by the gradual improvement in the funds from operations (FFO) net leverage ratio.
