Shares and Ownership structure

On 7 November 2016, at the same time as the separation from the Snam group, Italgas shares returned to the FTSE MIB index of Borsa Italiana, after 13 years of absence from the list. We present on this page the tool on the performance of the stock.

Our company is young on the FTSE MIB, but it is a historical name in the Italian financial markets. Italgas was first listed on 14 July 1851 on the Kingdom of Sardinia Stock Exchange, set up in Turin by Cavour; the second was in 1900, when it joined the Milan Stock Exchange. Since our return to listing in 2016, we have put in place a series of activities aimed at fostering and encouraging dialogue with all shareholders, engaging in active and constructive communication and sharing with our shareholders the actions and strategic visions underlying the company’s management. This commitment was formalised in December 2020, when the Board of Directors adopted of the “Policy for managing dialogue with shareholders in general”.

The Italgas share is not listed on alternative markets.
