Digital transformation
We believe in and invest in innovation and digital, with ad hoc training programmes.
We promote training activities to share the latest innovations in technology with everyone.
Innovation and digitisation are the keywords of our training programmes.
By Digital Transformation we mean training activities related to the acquisition of new skills and the development of attitudes towards digital topics. All this takes place through the Digital Factory, our corporate innovation factory.
In 2020, we launched a digital training program to promote the culture of digitalisation and to enable everyone to learn more about the technological innovations taking place.
Our Digital Transformation programs delve into:
- The new technological scenarios and the main applications on gas distribution;
- The use of technology platforms for contact center technicians;
- The roles and agile methodology, deployment of technological and digital solutions developed in Digital Factory teams, for people involved in innovative digitisation projects;
- Cyber security.

Italgas Academy
We offer coaching and mentorship courses aimed at enhancing personal growth. Our approach is empowerment-oriented: we combine support to improve effectiveness in real situations with an integrated personal and professional development path. We aim at improving performance while accompanying individual evolution.
We promote a Women’s Leadership program with the aim of enhancing the leadership skills of women in Italgas and increasing their presence in managerial roles, thus addressing the current gender inequalities.

IGrid Performance Evaluation
We provide performance management: a time for evaluating and collecting feedback on one's work.
To do this, we use IGrid Performance Evaluation, a tool that is based on the Italgas Leadership Model and on the performance expressed during the year, through a mapping process that develops into 16 boxes. This allows us to identify people to be included in role development activities and those to be enhanced through accelerated development programs.
