Large families in difficulty can apply for the bonus by filling in the necessary forms below. The bonus can also be combined with the social electricity bonus. The bonus is valid for twelve months and can be renewed. The value of the bonus is updated annually by ARERA, theRegulatory Authority for Public Utilities, always by 31 December of the previous year. • You are the holder of a natural gas supply at your place of residence
  (also in the case of the use of condominium systems fuelled by natural gas)
• You have a meter of class no higher than G6.
  
• if you have an isee less than or equal to € 8,265
  (for households with at least 4 dependent children, the ISEE threshold is raised to € 20,000).

With personal information, residence, family status, the characteristics of the natural gas supply contract (easily found on the bills) and ISEE documentation you can apply for the social bonus. With this data it is enough:

• Go to the website of the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment.
• Follow the instructions on the website and download the application form and fill it in completely.
• Apply to your municipality of residence or another institution designated by it by submitting the required forms.

The water bonus is a measure that has been active since January 2018, introduced to guarantee a saving on the annual cost of the water supply for those in difficulty.

The water bonus is a discount applied to the water bill for economically disadvantaged households, allowing them to avoid paying a minimum amount of water per person per year. This quantity has been set at 50 litres per person per day (18.25 cubic metres of water per year), corresponding to meeting essential needs. The bonus can be combined with both gas and electricity bonuses. The bonus is valid for twelve months.

If, at the end of the period of the first bonus payment, the user still meets the necessary requirements for admission (ISEE within the established threshold, presence of a supply contract for the water supply service at the residence), he/she can make a new application for the bonus by submitting the application to the Municipality or the delegated body. The application must be submitted approximately one month before the expiry of the current facility in order to ensure the continuity of the bonus.

The water bonus guarantees the free supply of 18.25 cubic metres of water on an annual basis (equal to 50 litres/inhabitant/day) for each member of the user’s registered family. The preferential tariff applied by the operator is not unique at national level and depends on the tariff structure approved at local level, therefore, the valuation of the bonus depends on each operator/area where the service falls.

• You have an ISEE indicator of no more than € 8,107.5
  (for households with at least 4 dependent children, the ISEE threshold is raised to € 20,000).
  
• You are a direct end user. The holder of a supply for the resident domestic water service.
• You are an indirect end user. One of the members of the household who uses a water supply in the residence in the name of a condominium user.
  

With an identity document, a proxy, a valid ISEE certificate, a certificate containing the data of all the members of the ISEE household (name, surname and tax code), and a large family certificate (with at least 4 dependent children) you can apply for the social bonus. With this data it is enough:

• Go to the website of the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment.
• Follow the instructions on the website and download the application form and fill it in completely.
• Submit the application in the form of a self-certification to your municipality or entity designated by it.
