Tommaso Colombo
Head of Antitrust Compliance Management
Tommaso Colombo was born in Busto Arsizio in 1983.
After furthering his studies in the United States, he graduated with honours in Business Administration, specialising in Enterprise and Financial Markets, from LIUC – Cattaneo University in 2007.
He began his professional career in 2007 at Kearney, an international management consultancy firm, working on strategy and M&A projects in the utilities, energy, private equity, telecommunications and pharmaceutical sectors.
In 2010, he joined 2i Rete Gas (formerly Enel Rete Gas), controlled by the F2i infrastructure fund. He took on positions of increasing responsibility in administration, finance and control until he was appointed head of finance and strategic planning in 2016. He managed the company’s refinancing on the debt capital market and was directly involved in all of the company’s most significant M&A projects, including the acquisition of G6 Rete Gas from GdF Suez, the acquisition of Nedgia from Gas Natural Fenosa, and the acquisition of Infrastrutture Distribuzione Gas from Edison. In 2021, he became Head of Tenders and M&A Management.
Since April 2025, he has been Head of Antitrust Compliance Management at Italgas S.p.A.
