We picked up on this page the most frequently asked questions relating to the Application, Registration, Qualification and Qualification Renewal.

I started an application on the old system, but I am not yet qualified. What should I do?

 

If you have started an application on the old system and your qualification dossier is still being processed, the Italgas operators will proceed to examine it on the new SAP Ariba IT4Buy platform.

We remind you that the new qualification process is set into 3 steps:

  • Application, 2) Registration and 3) Qualification.

In your case, having already started the application on the old system, you will need to start from step 2 Registration, after receiving the email inviting you to register on SAP Ariba IT4Buy.

To register yourself on IT4Buy, you will be required to register on Ariba Network, after receiving the invitation email from the qualification operator.

  • If you already have an Ariba Network account for your other customers, use your login credentials to access the IT4Buy platform
  • If you don’t have an Ariba Network account, you will need to create one. Consult the “Ariba Network Account Creation” section of the registration manual at this link to find out how to do it.

After the Registration step, you will receive an email with an invitation to fill out the Qualification questionnaire (step 3 of the process) for the Goods Category subject to Qualification.

I am a qualified supplier and would like to renew my qualifications. What should I do?

 

We remind you that the new qualification process is set into 3 steps:

  • Application, 2) Registration and 3) Qualification.

In your case, being already qualified, you will have to start from step 2 – Registration, after receiving the email inviting you to register on SAP Ariba IT4Buy.

To register yourself on IT4Buy, you will be required to register on Ariba Network, after receiving the invitation email from the qualification operator.

  • If you already have an Ariba Network account for your other customers, use your login credentials to access the IT4Buy platform
  • If you don’t have an Ariba Network account, you will need to create one. Consult the “Ariba Network Account Creation” section of the registration manual at this link to find out how to do.

I am an already qualified supplier and would like to qualify for another Goods Category. What should I do?

 

We remind you that the new qualification process is set into 3 steps:

  • Application, 2) Registration and 3) Qualification.

In your case, being already qualified for other Goods Category on the old system, you will have to start from step 2-Registration, after receiving the email inviting you to register on SAP Ariba IT4Buy.

To register yourself on IT4Buy, you will be required to register on Ariba Network, after receiving the invitation email from the qualification operator.

  • If you already have an Ariba Network account for your other customers, use your login credentials to access the IT4Buy platform
  • If you don’t have an Ariba Network account, you will need to create one. Consult the “Ariba Network Account Creation” section of the registration manual at this link to find out how to do.

After the Registration step, you will receive an email with an invitation to fill out the Qualification questionnaire (step 3 of the process) for the Goods Category subject to New Qualification.

I am an already qualified supplier and would like to monitor my Qualification. What should I do?

 

At the moment it is not possible to monitor the deadline of your qualifications made on the old system. We remind you that you can always consult the Qualification Letter you received at the time of qualification.

We are working on the implementation of the possibility of making the deadline of the qualification visible also for suppliers who are qualified on the old system. We invite you to consult constantly the Suppliers section of our site, where you can find all the updates on the matter.

We remind you that you can register at any new time on the SAP Ariba IT4Buy platform and we invite you to carry out this activity in time, in order to be able to manage future Renewal and/or Qualification activities for other Goods Category.

To register yourself on IT4Buy, you will be required to register on Ariba Network, after receiving the invitation email from the qualification operator.

  • If you already have an Ariba Network account for your other customers, use your login credentials to access the IT4Buy platform

I am a supplier and I already have an Ariba Network account for other Customers. What should I do to also display Italgas among my Customers in Ariba Network?

 

No action is required on your part. If you already have an Ariba Network account for other Customers, to also view Italgas you will have to wait for an operator to invite you to fill in the registration questionnaire. You will receive an email with all the instructions to continue the process and connect your account with the IT4Buy platform.

I am already a qualified supplier in Italgas. Can I use the credentials I used on the old qualification management system?

 

No. To register yourself on IT4Buy, you will be required to register on Ariba Network. You will have to wait for an operator to invite you to complete the registration questionnaire. You will receive an email with all the instructions to continue the process and connect your account with the IT4Buy platform.

I need help to fill out the CRIF ESG (Synesgy) Sustainability questionnaire or I need to make changes to my registry. What should I do?

 

Contact the number 800 821058 or write to ESG@crif.com if you need help editing or any technical explanation about the Questionario CRIF.

If you need to update your personal data, follow these steps:

  • Access your IT4Buy Personal Area and edit your data in the Registration questionnaire. If you have any difficulty in this operation, consult the Suppliers Manual – Personal Area
  • Contact CRIF technical support to report the updating of your personal data
  • CRIF will send you a new invitation to fill in the Sustainability Questionnaire, with your updated data
